The Haunting Legend of the Hatchet Lady

The old Blueher’s Barn in the Plaza Hacienda is said to be the site of a tragic romance turned deadly. According to local legend, a daughter of a prominent family discovered her betrothed lover in the arms of another woman on the barn grounds – a place known for romantic rendezvous. Consumed by rage, she attacked him with a hatchet, leaving him dead. Now, the daughter’s ghost, known as the “Hatchet Lady,” is cursed to roam the abandoned barn. With black, soul-consuming eyes, she exacts her unforgiving wrath on any who dare to trespass.
